The Erling-Persson Family Foundation supports Per-Ola's Carlsson research


Per-Ola Carlsson has been awarded research grant from the Erling-Persson Family Foundation in the area of diabetes.

Per-Ola Carlsson receives research grant of SEK 9 million for tree years.

The Erling-Persson Family Foundation was established in 1999 in memory of Erling Persson and his many achievements.  The economic base of the Foundation is in donations from Stefan Persson, Chairman of H&M.

With his untiring commitment and combination of entrepreneurial spirit and common sense, Erling Persson (1917-2002) laid the foundations for the global company that H&M is today. The Erling-Persson Family Foundation supports scientific research. The Foundation prioritizes projects with a focus on medicine and healthcare with the preference for research that is close to the patient and application-oriented.
